SMASH - Smart Mobile App for Surveyor Happiness

SMASH is a digital field mapping application designed to perform rapid qualitative/geological research and GIS data collection.

The main goal of SMASH is to have a tool that:

* fits in any pocket and can always be at hand when needed

* offers the possibility of taking georeferenced and possibly oriented photos during a survey, with further possibility of importing them into GIS applications such as gvSIG

* is able to easily explore an internet connection if available

* is extremely easy to use and intuitive, providing only a few important functions

* georeferenced notes

* georeferenced and oriented images

* GPS tracking record

* form-based data searches

* easy export of collected data

* a map view for navigation with support for raster tiles and GPX vector data

* geopackage support (OGC standard)
